There’s evidence to suggest that drinking lots of water reduces “water weight,” the extra pounds that indicate you’re “retaining water,” because your body understands that it doesn’t have to hoard water in case of an emergency.

What are IRLA challenge medals?
Our line of In Real Life Achievement awards, or IRLAs, lets you set goals in a variety of interests and reward yourself for milestones on your way to total mastery. IRLA challenge medals are visual reminders of the challenges you’ve faced and defeated. You can show off your IRLA Hydration challenge medal in its own stand, use multiple stands to display all the minor water drinking challenges leading up to it, wear your challenge medal in a necklace, and wear any (or all!) of your minor challenge medals, too.

What water drinking challenges must I complete?
A water drinking challenge, also called simply a water challenge, is fun and healthy at the same time! The goal is to make drinking lots of water a routine you use every day without thinking.
- Drink at least one half-gallon of water every day for a week
- Drink one full gallon of water every day for two consecutive weeks
- Drink one full gallon of water every day for three consecutive weeks
- Drink one full gallon of water every day for a month
Each challenge brings you a step closer to your water drinking goals.
How do IRLA challenges work?
When you accept our IRLA challenges, you receive a box of four minor challenges and the last major challenge for the complete set. Use your phone to scan your Introductory IRLA and get our IRLA app, where you can track your progress and compare your goals with a like-minded community. Open each IRLA as you complete your challenges!
