The Glory of Virtue (Bamboo Handle) brush is excellent for tentative newcomers to the art of calligraphy and of painting. It entices with its striking, naturally-patterned, bamboo stem handle, which is carved with its Chinese name, Miao Bi Sheng Hui. This mixed hair brush has a tip consisting of a 50% goat hair exterior, which surrounds the 50% weasel hair core. If you are undecided on whether a soft hair or hard hair brush is best for you, then you can have the best of both worlds with this compound brush. The softness of the goat hair and the stiffness of the weasel hair combine to give the Glory of Virtue (Bamboo Handle) brush qualities of suppleness and resilience.
