The Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion Kit makes it possible to screen-print fine line drawings, lettering and photographic work! Using a light sensitive solution which is applied to a screen-printing screen, you can expose the screen using a stencil or a hand-drawn or printed image on acetate or drafting film.
To start the process, Photo Emulsion is made active with Sensitiser. This mix is then used to thinly coat the screen. Once the screen is dry the prepared positive image can be positioned and the screen can be exposed to light. The final step before printing is to spray the screen with water so that the unexposed Emulsion is washed out, leaving you with the hardened, exposed Emulsion. Once you have printed your image (as many times as you like!) the Photo Emulsion Remover is used to clear the screen, ready for the next image!
